The effects of ultra violet light, pollution, dirt, grime and salt, can all accumulate on your powder coated surface over time.

To extend the effective life of powder coating and protect any warranty requirements that may exist, a very simple regular maintenance program should be implemented.

Cleaning should take place every six months, however, in coastal or industrial regions, cleaning should occur every three months.

To clean your powder coated surface:

  1. Carefully remove any loose deposits with a wet sponge.
  2. Use a soft, non abrasive brush or cloth, and a mild household detergent solution to remove dust, salt and other deposites.
  3. Rinse off with clean fresh water.
Once your product leaves our factory and it is damaged, scratched, reworked, cut, screwed, drilled or ground, these compromised areas are targets for rust and must be sealed appropriately. No product warranty is offered for damage or reworks after powder coating is performed.
